The Church was built in the 15th century. The bell, which is still kept inside the Church, dates back to 1463 and is supposed to be the first of the many bells that the Church has ever had. A fresco from the 16th century and a Gothic wooden statue of St. Nikolaj from the mid-14th century can still be seen inside the Church, although both are damaged extensively.
